This is a personal blog. I collect as little as possible — but this page is honest about the third parties involved, because a static site still leaks your IP address to whoever serves its assets.

What I don’t do

• No analytics. No Google Analytics, no GoatCounter, no page-view counter, no heatmaps.
• No ads and no ad network.
• No newsletter and no mailing list, so there is no list to be on.
• No account, no login, no profile. Nothing on this site asks you to identify yourself.

Hosting

The site is served by GitHub Pages. GitHub processes your IP address in its server logs to serve the pages and to protect the service against abuse. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.

Fonts and scripts loaded from third parties

Pages load web fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) and a few JavaScript libraries from the jsDelivr CDN (cdn.jsdelivr.net). Your browser contacts those hosts directly, so they receive your IP address and user agent. Their policies: Google, jsDelivr.

Comments

Comments are powered by Disqus, which loads only when you scroll to the comment area. Disqus sets its own cookies and processes whatever you type, plus the name and email address you enter — it is the data controller for that, not me. See the Disqus Privacy Policy.

Guest comments (no account needed) require an email address. I can see it while moderating and I don’t use it for anything else.

In your browser

The site registers a service worker so pages work offline. It stores a copy of pages and assets in your browser’s own cache. Nothing is sent anywhere; clearing site data removes it.
